Almost a mile long, Colne Valley Railway has relocated station buildings and signal boxes as well as a varied collection of steam and diesel engines and rolling stock. The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum is the only preserved steam railway in Suffolk and runs trains on selected days of the year. All trains use vintage carriages and run on the museum’s demonstration line. The display rooms tell the story of the MSLR’s history and its life in preservation and the workshops show the latest restoration projects.
