please do not reduce the number of podcasts

I really love the BBC HM podcasts: both the subjects and the interviewers. It was the highlight of my month and then, oh joy,it was increased to twice a month. But now you are talking about reducing it back to once a month again - what a shame. We are so starved for good history programs in Australia. I hope sufficient others feel the same way as me and you reinstate the twice monthly programs - they are wonderful.
Thank you, Melanie Hawthorne

Oh yes! I agree most heartily, as this is my favorite History Podcast, and I am not even British. I listen while I am working on my commercial fishing vessel, and it makes all the tedious hours of sanding, painting, and puttying bearable. It really helps me put into perspective the struggles people have gone through, and how lucky I am to have the opportunity to work hard without the distraction of war or famine. Know that your efforts are GREATLY appreciated.

I love the podcasts! Best of all is the funny voices of Muzzers, Atters and thingy-woman. Tis as a warming balm 'pon the drums. And the history's good an' all

Allow me to add my voice to the chorus of dismay at the news that we are to get one podcast only a month. i was riveted to the podcast yesterday, especially the new theory about the Viking invasions. But will people in high places read these comments?

I am starting to count on picking up a new podcast every Saturday. I will be really sad if they are reduced, though as a podcaster myself I know how much work they are.

I love listening to all the old shows too. History podcasts don't exactly get dated!

Thanks for your comments. We've no plans at present to reduce the number of podcasts so you can still enjoy your weekly download. Don't forget to listen out for this week's offering – available from Friday. Let us know what you think.

Thanks again.
