The forum rules prohibit swearing. It is with difficulty that I refrain from doing so.
Although I was born and raised in the U.S., I have lived in Canada for most of my adult life. It is an utter disgrace that Harry Bennett completely ignored the contribution of the Canadian navy in the battle of the Atlantic. My reaction is not, I think, just a matter of wounded national pride. Only an incompetent historian gets the cast of characters so wrong.
By the time of WWII Canada was not one of your d***ed colonies, you arrogant limey.
