What is the most historically inaccurate tv show or film?

Some shows are fantastical so should be given more slack eg Doctor Who and also some shows or films are pretty good but it turns out the cavalry officer jackets have 4 buttons instead of 5 - that's just being pedantic. Instead I want to know what have you seen that appears to be wilfully innacurate to the point of being slander against history itself?

An example, U-571 a Hollywood film starring the likes of Bon Jovi where America appears to be at war in the Atlantic before it was in reality and it is strongly implied that it was Bon Jovi and co who helped to crack the Enigma code! Come on give the Brits a little credit for fighting in the same war!

That's just one any more?

Hi,

Surely 'The Tudors' must be a contender for all-time worst ?

Hmmmm, bravehart springs to mind. So many mistakes it's quite like watching Leathel Weapon in drag. I am quite supprised they did not cast Danny Glover as Long shanks.

Surely it has to be any historical film with John Wayne in the lead.
