The Secret History of Georgian London: How the Wages of Sin Shaped the Capital

I bought this book after seeing it reviewed in the magazine, and absolutely loved it! Though it is quite a hefty tome, I could not put it down and finished it in a matter of days. So much better than any novel because the colourful characters are factual accounts of the real lives of actual people.
