Images of Hungary in the 20th century
This month, the Royal Academy of Arts celebrates the birth of modern photography with an exhibition featuring works by Brassaï, Robert Capa, André Kertész, László Moholy-Nagy and Martin Munkácsi, Hungarian photographers known for their influence on photojournalism, as well as documentary, art and fashion photography.
Over 200 photographs dating between 1914 to 1990 will be on display in the exhibition, which features works from the Hungarian National Museum of Photography in Kecskemét together with the National Museum, Budapest and public and private collections in Hungary and the UK.
