An exhibition exploring the history of the political poster in Britain is now open at the People's History Museum in Manchester.
More than 60 examples are on display in the exhibition, which looks at the development of the poster and examines key aspects of Britain's democracy, including how communication in politics has changed.
The exhibition also showcases the museum’s unique poster collection, which is the largest in the UK, including examples from all the major political parties.
Picturing Politics: Exploring the Political Poster in Britain is on display at the People's History Museum, Manchester, until 17 June 2012, and admission is free. You can find out more about the exhibition, and the museum itself, on the People's History Museum website.
