Experts from the University of Leicester and the Richard III Society have today announced that remains discovered beneath a Leicester car park are those of Richard III. The news follows months of speculation, with government officials announcing in November that the remains would be reburied in Leicester Cathedral if they were confirmed to be those of the monarch.
