I’m the lead sub-editor on HistoryExtra magazine (formerly BBC History Magazine), helping ensure our articles meet our high editorial standards and managing the journey of individual features through to deadline. I manage our team of external fact-checkers and am a regular host on the HistoryExtra podcast. I also help write headlines for our content on AppleNews+. I worked at a contract publisher called Specialist Publications for 10 years before becoming a freelance sub-editor for three years, working on history, science, cycling and craft titles. I joined BBC History Magazine in 2008.
