Walking Tours

Looking for something to do before the talks begin? Winchester is a city steeped in Anglo-Saxon and medieval history. On Friday 1 November, we’ll be hosting a series of walking tours around the ancient capital of Wessex so you can discover the rich history by foot. You can enjoy our exciting History Fringe sessions. These free 15-minute sessions are hosted by scholars from the University of Winchester and will cover a range of diverse and engaging topics. The full programme is available here.
