Have you ever wanted to get up close to the aircraft that won the Battle of Britain? You can do all that and so much more at IWM Duxford – Europe’s largest air museum with more than 300 aircraft and objects on display.
One of the most extraordinary exhibits comes from the very birth of flight itself – a portion of the original Wright Brothers plane. You can also walk through a Concorde, feel dwarfed by the sheer vastness of a B52 and stand in awe of Europe’s only SR17 Blackbird.

You can learn all about the history of the Duxford site itself, too. The airfield played a huge role during both WWI and WWII. You can hear stories of those who took part in key battles such as Dunkirk, D-Day and the Battle of Britain.
