History Weekend takes Malmesbury by storm for a second time
History lovers flocked to Malmesbury in their thousands over the weekend, to enjoy BBC History Magazine’s festival of talks and lectures
The annual History Weekend, now in its second year, ran from Thursday to Sunday, and was attended by more than 4,000 people. The line-up included leading historians Dan Snow, Suzannah Lipscomb, Dominic Sandbrook and Tracy Borman, as well as authors Hilary Mantel, Anthony Sattin and Charles Spencer.
Lectures were also given by Helen Castor, Jessie Childs, Dan Jones and Miles Russell.
