History Fringe sessions

As well as our main lectures series, festival visitors can also enjoy our exciting History Fringe sessions. Taking place at Elizabeth II Court, these free 15-minute sessions are hosted by scholars from the University of Winchester and are guaranteed to keep you occupied and informed between talks. History Fringe sessions scheduled for Saturday include talks on the St Brice’s Day massacre (11.10–11.25); a medieval leprosy hospital (12.45–13.05); the Norman conquest (14.40–14.55) and Eleanor of Aquitaine (16.05–16.20).
