A sporting history

Hundreds of items from The Priory Collection – one of largest and most prestigious private collections of sporting memorabilia in the world – have been brought together under one cover in A Sporting History: The Priory Collection by David Norrie.

The hardback large-format book, which features objects such as WG Grace's last bat, an All Blacks cap from their first-ever tour and Bobby Moore's 1970 World Cup shirt, also tells the history of sport over the past 150 years, with other key historical events listed alongside.

A Sporting History: The Priory Collection is published by VSP Publishing and is priced at £50. All proceeds from the book will go to the Saracens Sport Foundation, aimed at inspiring communities and changing lives through the power of sport
