I’m Emily, HistoryExtra’s podcast content producer. I’m a regular host on the HistoryExtra podcast, interviewing leading historical experts on fascinating stories from the past. I’m also the host of HistoryExtra Long Reads, History’s Greatest Battles and History’s Greatest Dishes. When not in front of a microphone, I’m often working behind the scenes on our HistoryExtra Podcasts YouTube channel, helping to bring our episodes to life in visual form. I'll find any excuse to don a historic costume and have an abiding passion for all things medieval – especially dance and the crusades! I hold an MA in Public History from Royal Holloway, University of London. Before joining HistoryExtra in 2021, I was also a host for Hampshire HistBites, where I gained hands-on experience in scripting, interviewing and audio production.
