Kavita Puri is a journalist, author and broadcaster. A new edition of her book Partition Voices: Untold British Stories, marking the 75th anniversary of partition, is out now, published by Bloomsbury. Her latest documentary for BBC Radio 4, Inheritors of partition, marks the 75th anniversary of the division of the Indian subcontinent through three stories from the third generation in Britain, and is available on BBC Sounds.
