The winner of our podcast survey has been announced

We get something in the order of 100,000–150,000 downloads of every episode of our monthly podcast, so last month we launched a survey to find out what listeners really thought of it. And, as a little thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, we promised one 16 GB Apple iPad 2 (Wi–Fi only) in black, worth £399 to one lucky entrant.

The winning name was drawn at random from the details of everyone who completed the survey by midnight (GMT) on 1 May 2011, and we’re now delighted to announce that Edmund Baker from Hove was our winning entrant!

Congratulations, Edmund, on behalf of all the team at BBC History Magazine and a big thank you to everyone who took part.
