Lauren Good is the digital content producer at HistoryExtra and joined the team in 2022 after completing an MA in Creative Writing. Her main project for this was an historical fiction novel, set against a shadowy coastline and the constrained culture of Georgian Britain. Lauren also holds a first-class degree in English and Classical Studies, during which she studied ancient history and philosophy. Her research interests include the history of Wales, female health, and anything that delves into the everyday details of the past. Previously, she has written for The Tab, Epigram, Earth.org, and was also fiction editor for the literary magazine Iceberg Tales.
